Listen to the voice of education, feel the charm of passing on the torch, and be moved by every moment of teaching and educating people. A three-foot rostrum, waiting for the flowers to bloom. Every day is full of happiness and harvest.

In the chattering classroom, there is the happy break time of the students, and in the serious listening to the class, there is a thirst for knowledge...These scenes are played out in many schools, it is expectation, it is joy, it is a dream, and it is also my dream of education. I still remember that General Secretary Xi Jinping once said: "It is a person's good fortune to meet a good teacher, it is a school's glory to meet a good teacher, and it is the hope of a nation to continuously emerge batches of good teachers." Such words bring countless teachers moving and encouragement. And I am lucky to have entered the three-foot rostrum and started my dream journey until today.

I. The Passing of Love, Always

Looking back on my teaching career, there is the joy of success, the frustration of failure, the passion with colleagues, and the laughter with children. During this period, I have gained a lot and grown a lot. That is a kind of feeling and journey of pursuing my education career, and it is also a happy stopover on my life journey.

With a love for education and a dream of practicing early childhood education, in August 2017, I joined Yingcheng Huamo Foreign Language School from Yingcheng Experimental Kindergarten where I had worked for more than 20 years, and became the head teacher of the first grade of the primary school. I had no experience working in a boarding school, and the disease prevention and care work for first-grade students was a challenge for me. But I firmly believe that as long as I put my heart and soul into it, I will be able to overcome the difficulties. That winter, the flu struck, and several children in the class developed a high fever. I notified the parents to take their children home for treatment, while arranging for the life teacher to take the children of parents from other places to the hospital for treatment. I also communicated with the parents about the children's condition in a timely manner. In order to prevent other children from being infected, I carried three disease prevention treasures with me every day: a thermometer, Banlangen, and a kettle. On the premise of keeping the children warm, I would pay attention to and inquire about their physical condition at any time. Three body temperature checks a day, and students were organized to drink warm water during each break. Children with mild fever were given Banlangen. After evening self-study, the counselor and I cleaned and disinfected the classroom and opened the windows for ventilation. At bedtime, I would ask the life teacher to pay special attention to children with abnormal physical conditions. Under our careful care, the flu did not spread in the class, and the sick children recovered quickly. During that time, the children jokingly said: "Our teacher Tian is a versatile superman, sometimes a teacher, sometimes a doctor, and sometimes a cleaner." Although it was hard work, I gained the full affection of the children. They competed to stuff various notes of gratitude and greetings into my pocket. What moved me even more was that when I was grading their homework, the children actually expressed their love for me directly on the cover of their homework books. "Teacher Tian, I love you!"

Behind a job is our hard work, behind persistence is our sweat, and after a snow and rain, it is our selfless dedication. I think this is the best interpretation of loving one's job and being dedicated to one's work! Being loyal to one's career and to the three-foot rostrum is the work belief of all our teachers.

II. Working Together, Growing Together

From a kindergarten teacher to a primary school teacher, for me, it is growth, and it is also a harvest. I have served as the head of the first grade for two consecutive terms. This is not only a responsibility, but also carries a mission. However, I have always believed that creating a team that is like a small family can bring people together and make progress together. Therefore, I also treat the first-grade teachers with care. When they are sick, I will care for them in time. When they have emotions, I will also take the initiative to talk to them. Our little family is always harmonious and warm. When the teachers are preparing for the open class competition, we will all help her polish the class. We will use our off-duty time to gather together and comment on a sentence or a teaching section. When the first-grade group participates in various school competitions as a whole, we all participate, contribute ideas, and cooperate to treat the grade's affairs as our own. I will not forget that Teacher Peng Fang repeatedly used her off-duty time to train everyone on the teaching content of pinyin; I will not forget that Teacher Mo Weiwei actively prepared Chinese teaching courseware for everyone before the start of school; I will not forget that Teacher Wang Min took the initiative to undertake the rehearsal of the grade's "challenge" activity, greatly encouraging the students' fighting spirit for the final exam; I will not forget the nights when everyone worked overtime in the office for several consecutive nights just to ensure the smooth progress of the parent-teacher meeting; I will not forget the collaborative completion of the class story speech drafts by Teacher Ma Li and Teacher Tan Juanmei, the design of the "Close Teacher" teaching forum, the discussion of the transfer class research by Teacher Lu Di and Teacher Xu Jingjing, the careful production of the grade bulletin board, and the discussion of class management work, etc. All of these are the results of everyone's concerted efforts, division of labor, and resource sharing. One reaps what one sows. The teachers of our first grade have won many first prizes in various school competitions, and the grade group has also been frequently commended by the school. I love my teachers, and I am willing to walk with them, harvesting more moving and happiness.

Working together, I also feel the power of unity. In May this year, the Education Bureau organized a city-wide teacher's efficient ecological classroom standardization activity. The school has an unwritten rule that school leaders must lead by example. To be honest, in front of a group of teachers with rich teaching experience, I felt intimidated. The time to prepare for the standardized class was tight, and my two trial lectures did not go well. Afraid of failure, after a mental struggle, I asked Principal Xiao to withdraw from the standardized class. Principal Xiao smiled and said, "You don't dare to go up? Who else dares to go up? Come, let me help you see which parts of your class need to be reconsidered..." He also specially invited Director Yu Xianhong to help me discuss and revise the lesson plan. With their help, I was greatly encouraged, clarified my thinking, and went into battle lightly, finally passing the standardized class with excellent results. Yes, it was the help and encouragement of the leaders that inspired my confidence in Chinese teaching. I am grateful, and it encourages me to move forward.

III. Because of Love, Therefore Choose

Because of love, therefore choose. Because of the encouragement of the leaders and the support of my colleagues, I feel even more the strength to continue to persevere. I remember that during the job interview, Principal Xiao said to me: "Teacher Tian, thank you very much for joining Huamo Foreign Language School. Our primary school department needs experienced kindergarten teachers like you the most. The first-grade students need to continue to do a good job in early childhood education, which is conducive to the healthy growth of students' minds and bodies." After hearing this, I was greatly encouraged and admired Principal Xiao's professionalism. From kindergarten to primary school, I have excitement, anxiety, and confusion, but the words of the leaders are warm and real, giving me confidence and filling me with anticipation for the future.

Dedication, love for the profession, I'm always striving. Around me are many teachers who, through their actions, embody responsibility and love for teaching. Our school principal, Principal Liu, is a prime example. Approaching his seventies, he remains energetic and healthy. He's the one patrolling the campus at 6 am every morning, the last to leave the student dormitories every night, leading teachers in clearing snow on snowy days, leading the cheers for students at the junior high entrance examination oath-taking ceremony, offering congratulations and expectations at the teacher commendation ceremony, and the one waiting at the school gate to see us off on teacher trips during summer vacation… He's everywhere on campus, and his love for education constantly inspires us. He frequently pays attention to our first-grade work, affirming our achievements, pointing out shortcomings, and suggesting improvements, guiding our work. In him, I see the dedication of an old teacher who deeply loves education. His passion and dedication have given me much to reflect on. I hope to become a teacher like him, but I know I still have much to work on.

In this new era and on this new journey, as an elementary school teacher, I am willing to continue fighting for my beloved career. Students are like flowers, waiting for us to nurture them, helping them bloom and grow. On the three-foot platform, every teacher holds their own dreams, some big, some small, but every teacher hopes to leave a mark of children's growth and progress on this platform. This is a commitment, and it is also a memory. Staying true to our original aspirations, we forge ahead! In the future, I will continue on this great ship, hoisting the sails, striving to be the best teacher, and building an unregrettable dream of education!
