Youthful and vibrant, adorning their beautiful youth; diligent students, full of spirit, striving for a brilliant life. On February 22nd, the eighth grade of the junior high school held an "Eighth Grade Commendation and New Semester Mobilization Meeting" in the academic report hall. Hu Fei, director of the general school's political and educational office, Zuo Yanxia, secretary of the general school's Youth League Committee, and others attended the meeting.

Singing the national anthem and school anthem

Zuo Yanxia, secretary of the general school's Youth League Committee, gave a speech. She encouraged the students to "pursue their dreams and not waste their youth." To use their dreams as direction and motivation, not to waste their precious time and youth. The body and soul must be on the road; we must be dream chasers on the road to learning.

Wang Yong and Wang Yifan, eighth-grade grade directors, gave speeches.

Wang Yong, eighth-grade grade director, spoke:

1. Turn dreams into goals. All success stems from clear goals. Once you have a goal, you must take positive action and never give up in order to achieve it.

2. Maintain a healthy and positive attitude. Change your destiny through hard work and struggle.

3. Develop good habits. Make a firm decision to start with small things and change your bad habits.

Wang Yifan, eighth-grade grade director, spoke:

1. Walk slowly and quietly on the stairs, keeping to the right; during breaks, do not run or chase in the corridors or activity areas.

2. Protect public facilities, do not scribble or deface them, do not trample on the lawn, and do not pick branches.

3. Starting with ourselves and starting now, develop good hygiene habits and do not litter.

Student representatives Sun Qianqian and Wu Jiaxin said:

"Even the most turbulent river will eventually calm down, and even the most chaotic battle will eventually end in peace." This is a quote from a famous biography. In our studies, all difficulties will eventually turn around with the passage of time. Even if the situation is dire, as long as you don't give up, "another village with willows and flowers" will appear brilliantly on the "mountainous and watery road, seemingly without a way." However, some of our classmates are desperate and disheartened about their studies, believing that being abandoned by "excellence" means being abandoned forever, abandoned by the world surrounded by coldness, and abandoned by the frozen society. But why drown the hope that still exists with a pessimistic attitude? The sky blocked by clouds will eventually open up, and the night of continuous rain will eventually clear up, so we should be full of hope for our studies, not changing with the day or mixing with the times. Only in this way can a ray of sunlight summon thousands of collections."

Student representatives went on stage to receive awards.

Tao Zhongyi, director of the junior high school's political and educational office, spoke:

1: Be friendly and learn to be a person. Learn to respect others; people's nature longs to be respected by others.

2: Be tolerant of others. Conflicts are inevitable among classmates who spend time together every day. First, reflect on whether you have made any mistakes, and correct them if you have, and encourage yourself if you haven't.

3: Cherish time, be diligent, and develop good habits. Develop a good sense of time, and be focused and efficient in your studies and work, avoiding procrastination. Cherish every minute and second of your studies.

I hope that in the new semester, you will study harder and make greater progress. At the beginning of the new semester, everything before us is new—a new starting point, new hopes. We will stand on a new horizon, cherish our time, strive hard, prove ourselves, and surpass ourselves. We are all running hard; we are all dream chasers.
