Upholding the May Fourth Spirit, Showcasing Youthful Vigor

To guide the vast number of young Communist Youth League members to inherit and carry forward the May Fourth spirit, encouraging teachers and students to actively shoulder the responsibilities and obligations bestowed upon young people by the times, remembering history, not forgetting their original aspirations, and forging ahead. On the morning of May 6th, the senior high school department held a flag-raising ceremony themed "Upholding the May Fourth Spirit, Showcasing Youthful Vigor". The ceremony was hosted by Class (1) of Grade 2, with all teachers, students, and leaders of the senior high school department participating.

Facing the rising sun of the early morning, the flag-raising ceremony officially began. The members of the national flag guard team marched in with neat steps, escorting the national flag into the field. With the playing of the majestic national anthem, under the attention of all teachers and students, the five-star red flag slowly rose and fluttered in the wind.

Outstanding student representatives from Class (1) of Grade 2, Wang Tianyun, Yi Pan, Tian Yuxuan, and Zhang Yuqing, gave heartfelt recitations. They called on all teachers and students to use their full enthusiasm, upholding the spirit of patriotism, progress, science, and democracy, to contribute our youthful strength to the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, holding high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, arming our minds with Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, carrying forward the May Fourth patriotic spirit, and striving tirelessly for the construction of a strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious, and beautiful socialist modern country!

Following this, Tan Yadong, director of the senior high school political and educational office, gave a speech, leading everyone to review the magnificent history of May Fourth, to revisit the May Fourth spirit, and to encourage everyone with the motto "When the youth is intelligent, the nation is intelligent; when the youth is wealthy, the nation is wealthy; when the youth is strong, the nation is strong," and "Study for the rise of China."

This flag-raising ceremony further strengthened patriotic education, enhanced national pride and responsibility, and inspired students' boundless love and respect for their motherland. It showcased the excellent spirit of our school's students. The students deeply understood the heavy responsibilities on their shoulders, determined to use their knowledge, ideals, and enthusiasm to compose even more resounding songs of youth, willing to study hard for the rejuvenation of China, and willing to contribute to creating a bright future for the motherland!
