On the evening of September 27, teachers and students of the whole school held a singing competition "Singing for the Motherland, Flying Towards the Dream" in the Huamao Auditorium to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the great motherland.

 

Before the competition, Liu Chengde, the principal of the school, delivered an impassioned speech, emotionally recounting the tremendous changes since the founding of New China 70 years ago, calling on all Huamao students to express their love for the motherland with full enthusiasm and loud singing, and express their ambition to pursue dreams in the new era!

 

School leaders attending the singing competition presented awards and certificates of honor to the winning teachers and students.

 

 

 

The participating teams were excellent choirs selected from various departments through preliminary rounds, 5 from primary school, 4 from junior high school, and 3 from senior high school. The participating teams offered a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China with their loud singing. With their surging artistic passion and positive and upward spirit, they sang "My Motherland and Me", "The Red Star Is Shining", "Unity Is Strength", "We Are the Successors to Communism", and the school song "Flying Towards the Dream", etc. Teachers and students expressed their beautiful feelings of loving the school and the motherland with beautiful melodies and full enthusiasm, and expressed their deep blessings to the motherland.
