In the process of English tutoring, I realized that for students who are not good at English, tutoring should start with arousing interest and cultivating confidence.

However, as English learning deepens, some students gradually find it difficult, their learning interest weakens, their confidence is insufficient, and a polarization phenomenon appears. Therefore, in teaching, I will combine the students' actual situation ，and use TPR teaching method ，natural spelling reading methods, etc. ， Guide students to memorize basic vocabulary and sentences in a lively and relaxed atmosphere, reduce students' burden ，and avoid rote memorization. 。 Secondly, adopt a combination of pictures and texts method ，create short stories close to students' life situations, and enrich students' vocabulary. After students master the content of picture books then perform, both interesting, and can deepen the memory of the plot. In addition, due to students' personalities ，academic background, and level of knowledge mastery are different, so classroom questioning ，assigning homework should according to different students' abilities ，have targeted hierarchical differentiation ， so that everyone participates in learning. Questions and assignments are left out plenty of time for students to think ， let them experience the joy of success, and gradually eliminate fear, and establish confidence in learning English.
