Xi Jinping General Secretary pointed out that meeting a good teacher is a lucky event in one's life, having good teachers is a school's glory, and a nation continuously producing batches of good teachers is the hope of the nation. I am fortunate to have met good teachers. I hope my students will be equally fortunate. Therefore, becoming a good teacher that students like has become my pursuit. How can I become a good teacher that students like?

1. Be like licorice root, making students feel at ease upon first meeting.

Licorice root is a traditional Chinese medicine, it is warm in nature, has medicinal value, and can harmonize various medicines; almost every prescription contains licorice root. I want to be like licorice root, warm, tolerant, and harmonizing. In teaching, I never bring my life's troubles into the classroom. When encountering students who upset me, I know how to control myself, deal with my emotions first, and then deal with the situation. When criticizing and educating students, I know when to stop. After students are criticized, they may be in low spirits and develop aversion to learning. At this time, I will find their strengths as soon as possible and praise them at the right time. If I cannot find a reason to praise them in the short term, I will take the initiative to talk to them or ask them to help with something meaningful to rebuild a good teacher-student relationship.

2. Treat students equally, making students fall in love at second sight.

For different students, I will teach according to their aptitude, understand their knowledge gaps, carefully guide them, and patiently urge them. Especially for underachievers, I will not treat them as burdens. Because they also have strengths, seizing one and letting it shine can even illuminate their life's journey. I will also use daily small things to infiltrate emotions, an encouraging look, an inspiring word, a warm smile, a few caring inquiries, a small favor granted, a deliberate request for help; trust is thus established, and they become more attentive to their studies.

3. Teach every class well, making students see beauty at third sight.

I teach ideological and political courses. Some people may say that ideological and political courses are simple and easy to teach, without much technical content; it's just about marking lines in class and students memorizing lines, and no one dares not memorize them. In fact, students will not accept this approach.

The current ninth-grade textbook has been completely revised, with strong policy and theoretical content, making it difficult for students to learn independently, plus 2019 the mid-term exam is graded, many students have a fluke mentality and are unwilling to study. Therefore, I try to avoid the awkward situation of "selling old goods every day and copying the same thing." I designed a five-ring review class—clarifying the mid-term exam objectives, clarifying the teaching key points, explaining the teaching difficulties, clarifying the teaching doubts, and making the current affairs hotspots lively. In class, teachers and students interact, students interact with each other, creating a harmonious and pleasant teaching atmosphere. If students complete their learning tasks in advance, I will reward them with some free time to watch their favorite documentaries such as "Brilliant China," "Major Country Diplomacy," "The New Silk Road," and "Amazing My Country," breaking the monotony of review classes. Students look forward to political classes, and this desire is invaluable.

Knowledge memorization and recitation is a big headache for students, I will often PK with students. Under my leadership and influence, many students gradually enjoy memorizing, especially some students who claim to have amnesia, have also gradually changed their attitudes and joined the ranks of memorization recitation In the mid-term exam, the ideological and political course I taught ranked first in Yingcheng and third in Xiaogan. 2019 Since I have chosen the profession of teacher and the identity of a Huamao person, I will be the best version of myself, achieving students, achieving the school, and achieving the future.

Since I chose the profession of teacher and the identity of a Huamao person, I will be the best version of myself, achieving students, achieving the school, and achieving the future.
