Summary: On the morning of June 3rd, a themed flag-raising ceremony was held in the senior high school department, calling on students to establish lofty aspirations and let their dreams illuminate reality. The ceremony was hosted by Class 5 of Grade 2, a united, friendly, and progressive collective; Class 5 is also the school's innovation class.

Some say that it may only take a fleeting thought to determine a dream, but fulfilling one's dream sometimes takes a lifetime. Some people even spend their entire lives wandering, lost, and sinking in the illusion of dreams. What is a dream? A dream is strength—it is the highest level of self-responsibility, the courage and persistence to hold onto a vague dream as your ideal. A dream is the vast ocean that fish yearn for; a dream is the blue sky that birds long for; a dream is the new China that Dr. Sun Yat-sen hoped for... A dream is the prototype of success.

Goethe said: "Everyone has a lamp in their heart; the strong will not be extinguished by the wind, while the weak will be extinguished by the wind. This lamp is the dream." Some say that it may only take a fleeting thought to determine a dream, but fulfilling one's dream sometimes takes a lifetime.

Having a dream is half the battle to success. Dreams are the driving force; mountains have life, plants and animals because of dreams; water has vitality, fish and waves because of dreams; people have life, success and happiness because of dreams. Bill Gates had a well-known dream: that one day every home would have a personal computer on every desk, running software he developed. It was this great dream that gave birth to Microsoft, and it is under the influence of this company that software has developed from nothing to what it is today. The road to success is full of hardships, but dreams tell us to get up when we fall; dreams tell us to forge ahead when we encounter storms; dreams tell us never to give up when we fail. Dreams allow us to see light in the darkness, and the hope of tomorrow.

Learning to work hard is the other half of success. For our dreams, we charge forward fearlessly, paying the price of sweat, tears, and blood, making our dreams clearer and greater. Dreams spur us on. Perhaps on the road to realizing our dreams, we will encounter countless setbacks and difficulties, but it's okay. If we fall, we get back up and move forward for our dreams, because the future depends not only on luck but also on our own creation. Lincoln is a prime example. He worked hard time and again, yet suffered repeated failures: business bankruptcies, election defeats. If you encountered all this, would you give up? Would you give up on things that are important to you? Lincoln never gave up on his pursuit; he always remained the master of his own life. Finally, in 1860, he was elected President of the United States. Persevere, and success will be at your feet. Anyone who wants to accomplish anything great must be able to persevere; perseverance leads to success. To realize our eternal dreams, we must use wisdom to light the torch, diligently pave the way, carefully draw blueprints, diligently accumulate materials, and finally embrace the future with both arms.

A person without dreams has no goals to strive for, no motivation to move forward. It's like living at the bottom of a canyon, spending days in darkness, troubled by helplessness, struggling in despair, and seeing no hope in confusion. Watching different people rush past, chasing their dreams, while one remains blindly running in place, ultimately only silently watching, waiting for death to take away this lonely soul. Without dreams, there is no hope; loneliness, fear, and despair fill the heart; every gust of wind heavily strikes this weak heart, leaving only self-abandonment and drifting with the tide, spending mediocre, tasteless, meaningless years filled with sadness. Fang Zhongyong of the Song Dynasty was gifted as a child, able to write poems instantly upon seeing an object, but because he lacked dreams and didn't work hard, his talent gradually declined, and he eventually became an ordinary person.

Therefore, life cannot be without dreams. We are the pride of the times, the future of our motherland. We hope that everyone can continuously improve, surpass themselves, with a broad Tao Yuanming once said, "Jingwei carries small branches, intending to fill the ocean." Li Shimin once said, "My heart is as high as the bright moon, my aspirations as pure as the autumn frost." Su Dongpo once said, "To reverse the raging waves when they are about to overturn, to support the great Xia dynasty when it is about to collapse." Du Fu once said, "To serve the emperor like Yao and Shun, and to make the customs pure again." We hope that every student can roam in the ocean of knowledge, in the world of spirit freely fight. Bathed in the glorious thoughts of the sages and virtuous men of the past, listening to the earnest teachings of benevolent masters. We hope that students will take up their pens With colorful pens, depicting a beautiful blueprint Taking off from here Set your dreams free ,pursuing like Kua Fu chasing the sun Our dreams

Teacher Tao's Speech

I am Teacher Tao from Class 5, Grade 2. Today, I am honored to share with you three questions about dreams.

Question 1: What are dreams? Dreams should be aspirations for the future.

In 1947, a boy born into an ordinary family in post-war Austria, wrote in his diary his ambition to become the President of the United States. But how could such a grand ambition be realized? At a young age, after much thought, he formulated a series of interconnected goals: To become the President of the United States, he first needed to become a governor; to run for governor, he needed the support of a strong financial backing; to gain the support of financial groups, he needed to integrate into them; to integrate into financial groups, it was best to marry a wealthy heiress; to marry a wealthy heiress, he needed to become a celebrity; a quick way to become a celebrity was to become a movie star; before becoming a movie star, he needed to train his body and cultivate a masculine physique.

Following this line of thinking, he began to proceed step by step. After years of hard work, he won the titles of European, World, and Mr. Olympia. 22 At the age of , he stepped into Hollywood. In Hollywood, he spent ten years portraying a strong, unyielding, and tenacious tough-guy image, finally rising to fame in the entertainment industry. 9 He entered into marriage with his girlfriend of years. His wife was the famous niece of President Kennedy. 2003 In , he retired from the film industry and turned to politics, successfully running for governor of California. He is Arnold Schwarzenegger. His experience has made people remember this saying: How far your thoughts can reach, how far you can go.

Question 2: Some may think that to achieve a dream, one has to work hard and persevere for so long. Isn't it hard?

In the process of pursuing and striving for dreams, the initial difficulties will indeed bring challenges, but day after day of persistence will allow one to feel the fullness of life, find their own happiness, and dreams will become faith, giving life meaning!

Conversely, will those who have no dreams and do not pursue them live easily? This is completely absurd! Life will not reduce its torment on you because you are timid or lazy, but your talents will atrophy in comfort and avoidance. Weeds grow where crops don't grow in the fields. When our hearts do not experience the fullness and happiness of pursuing dreams, what remains is bound to be vulgarity and emptiness! Therefore, a life without dreams will never be easy But a life with dreams will surely be wonderful!

Question 3: What should our dreams be?

Everyone's dreams must be pursued by themselves! I have a dream, as a teacher, to influence 100 children! As a student, our dreams can be to repay our parents, allowing them to live their later years with dignity and respect; it can also be to become a scientist, an entrepreneur, a journalist, a doctor, etc., realizing our life value through these professions; it can also be to get into our dream university, grow into an excellent educator, and return to Yingcheng Huamo Foreign Language School to become an educational elite...

As the Starry Sky Diary says, it is not reality that supports your dreams, but your dreams that support reality.

Because of dreams, even if they cannot be realized, your life will become different because of them.

Because of dreams, even if you fail in the end, your life will eventually shine brightly.

Because of dreams, people are more like people, and life is not in vain.

The reason why we need dreams so much is because they give our lives value, they allow us to find the meaning of struggle, and they make us willing to give our all to the people and things worth it.

May dreams and reality converge, and may we all get what we wish for!
