  1. Common time periods for drowning incidents: After school, weekends, and holidays.

 

2. Common locations for drowning incidents: Mostly occur in unsupervised ponds and reservoirs near villages. In terms of age, it is more common among younger children, mostly primary and secondary school students.

 

  3. Causes of drowning deaths: Playing by the water, fishing in the water, retrieving items that have fallen into the water; children going into the river to play without permission, swimming in groups; going for a swim together without supervision, accidentally falling into the water.

 

  4. Knowing the whereabouts of your children: "Four Knowledges" Statistics show that the probability of drowning accidents is very high for students whose parents lack supervision. Therefore, parents must know their children's whereabouts: the "Four Knowledges": Knowing their destination, Knowing their companions, Knowing their return time, Knowing their activities.
